Position: Specification Engineer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Industry: Construction Hardware / Door Ironmongery

Key Responsibilities:

Drive product specifications for door ironmongery and architectural hardware with architects, consultants, contractors, and developers.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction and design industry to secure product specifications.

Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to clients, assisting them in selecting the right hardware solutions for their projects.

Prepare and present technical submittals, product samples, and specification documents to meet project requirements.

Collaborate with sales and project teams to convert specifications into actual orders and ensure smooth project execution.

Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and new product developments in the ironmongery sector.

Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations as required.

Manage and maintain a database of project specifications, tender documents, and key contacts.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

5+ years of proven experience as a Specification Engineer within the door ironmongery or architectural hardware industry is mandatory.

Strong technical knowledge of door hardware, locking systems, access control, and related building products.

Established network with architects, consultants, and contractors in the UAE construction market is highly preferred.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Valid UAE driving license is required.

Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
