Position: Retail Sales Executive

Location: Sharjah, UAE

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Executive with hands-on experience in selling building materials such as ironmongery, sanitary ware, and related products. The candidate will be responsible for managing store sales, assisting walk-in customers, and driving retail revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and guide walk-in customers in the store.
• Understand customer needs and provide the right product solutions in building materials (ironmongery, sanitary ware, tiles, etc.).
• Handle product inquiries, quotations, and invoicing.
• Achieve monthly sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge to confidently explain features and benefits.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for product availability and timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized store layout and attractive product displays.
• Build strong relationships with repeat customers and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Keep track of competitor offerings and provide insights to the management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Sales, or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of retail sales experience in building materials (ironmongery, sanitary ware, tiles, or hardware products).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first approach.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, invoicing, and MS Office.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
• Based in Sharjah or willing to commute.
