Job Overview:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Executive to join a growing team in the cosmetics and makeup industry. This role will focus on ensuring compliance with all UAE regulatory requirements for product registration, labeling, documentation, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience navigating UAE regulations and managing the product registration process for beauty and personal care items.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle the registration and approvals of cosmetic and makeup products with relevant UAE authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, ESMA)
Review and verify product labels, claims, and ingredients to ensure regulatory compliance
Maintain accurate and updated documentation for all regulatory submissions
Liaise with internal teams (product development, marketing, legal) to provide guidance on compliance requirements
Monitor changes in local and international cosmetic regulations and update internal processes accordingly
Prepare dossiers and technical files for product registration and renewals
Coordinate with laboratories for product testing, if required
Support external audits and respond to regulatory inquiries
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the cosmetics or makeup sector within the UAE
Strong understanding of GCC and UAE regulatory frameworks related to cosmetics
Familiarity with product safety standards, INCI listings, and ingredient classifications
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple registrations simultaneously
Strong communication and organizational skills
