Overview

Position: Procurement Executive
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Industry: Perfumes & Personal Care / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Oud & Agarwood Procurement:

Source, evaluate, and procure high-quality Oud and Agarwood raw materials from domestic and international suppliers.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with Oud suppliers, growers, and distributors to ensure consistent quality and supply.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.

Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and availability of Oud and Agarwood to make informed purchasing decisions.

Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with company specifications and industry standards.

Packaging Procurement:

Source and procure packaging materials including bottles, caps, boxes, labels, cartons, and other components for perfume and personal care products.

Identify and evaluate packaging suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and production capacity.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and lead times with packaging vendors.

Coordinate with production, design, and NPD teams to ensure packaging specifications are met and aligned with brand requirements.

Manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of packaging materials to support production schedules.

General Procurement:

Manage the end-to-end procurement process including purchase orders, vendor management, and delivery tracking.

Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements in the procurement function.

Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sourcing practices.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

5-7 years of procurement experience, with specific expertise in Oud and Agarwood sourcing and packaging procurement within the perfume, personal care, or FMCG industry.

Strong network of Oud suppliers and packaging vendors is highly preferred.

Deep knowledge of Oud quality grading, sourcing regions, and market dynamics.

Familiarity with various packaging materials, printing techniques, and production processes.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
