Legal Manager
Overview
Position: Legal Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all general administrative legal matters for the organization.
Draft, review, and manage routine contracts, agreements, and legal documents (e.g., NDAs, MOUs, tenancy contracts, vendor agreements).
Ensure compliance with UAE labor law, company policies, and administrative regulations.
Liaise with government authorities, notary publics, and external legal counsel on administrative legal matters.
Manage legal documentation, filing systems, and record-keeping for all administrative legal activities.
Assist in handling employee-related legal documentation such as offer letters, employment contracts, and termination formalities.
Support the HR and Admin departments in interpreting and applying UAE labor laws to day-to-day operations.
Coordinate with external lawyers for litigation matters, government relations, and corporate legal filings.
Provide legal guidance on tenancy, leasing, facility management, and other operational legal matters.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university.
8+ years of legal experience, with a strong focus on general administrative legal matters, preferably within a corporate, manufacturing, or FMCG environment in the UAE.
In-depth knowledge of UAE labor law, commercial law, and administrative legal procedures.
Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills for routine legal documents.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping.
