Job Description:
The Legal Manager will oversee drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (leases, NDAs, distribution/franchise contracts), manage trademarks and intellectual property (IP), and handle company formations/dissolutions. Key responsibilities include coordinating with IP lawyers, renewing trade licenses/leases, resolving payment disputes with distributors/suppliers/contractors, ensuring compliance with GCC regulations, and facilitating document legalization. The role also involves maintaining records in systems like NAFIS and REPO, managing employment legal matters, and overseeing insurance requirements across GCC branches.

Desired Qualifications:

8–10 years of UAE legal experience in the retail/manufacturing sector, with 2–3 years in a managerial role.

Expertise in commercial legal matters, including leasing agreements, IP management, payment disputes, and employment law.

Proven experience in drafting and negotiating international agreements (distribution, exhibitions, product development).

Strong familiarity with GCC regulatory frameworks and cross-functional coordination.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Role emphasizes hands-on management of commercial disputes, IP registrations, and compliance with GCC employment and trade laws.

Experience in retail-specific legal issues (e.g., franchise agreements, brand policies) is highly valued.
