Position: Cost Accountant
Location: Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Industry: Perfume Manufacturing | FMCG

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze manufacturing costs and perform regular expense tracking to ensure accurate product costing.

Prepare detailed cost analysis reports, including standard costing, variance analysis (material, labor, overhead), and profitability by product line.

Monitor inventory valuation, conduct physical stock counts, and reconcile inventory accounts, ensuring accuracy in a manufacturing environment.

Assist in the preparation of manufacturing budgets, forecasts, and monthly closing activities related to cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory.

Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to validate costs, analyze production efficiency, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Maintain and improve cost accounting systems, processes, and internal controls within the manufacturing unit.

Support pricing decisions and new product development costing through detailed financial analysis.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.

5+ years of proven experience in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing industry (FMCG, cosmetics, perfumes, or related sectors preferred).

Strong expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.

Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.

Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and operational metrics.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.
