Overview
Position: Auditor
Location: Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Industry: Perfume Manufacturing | FMCG
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute internal audit programs to evaluate the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls within the manufacturing and corporate environment.
Conduct detailed testing of transactions, processes, and systems to ensure accuracy, adherence to company policies, and compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
Assess risk areas, identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and potential for fraud, and provide practical, value-added recommendations for improvement.
Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, risks, and actionable management recommendations.
Perform follow-up audits to monitor the implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions.
Collaborate with process owners across finance, production, inventory, and supply chain to understand workflows and reinforce a culture of control and accountability.
Assist in the preparation for and coordination with external auditors.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CA) is highly preferred.
4+ years of proven experience in internal or external auditing, preferably within a manufacturing, FMCG, or retail environment.
Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (COSO), audit methodologies, and accounting principles (IFRS).
Analytical, detail-oriented, and possess high ethical standards with the ability to handle confidential information.
Excellent report-writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
