Position: Export Coordinator – Perfume & Personal Care

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate end‑to‑end export operations for perfume and personal care products, including order processing, documentation, and shipment tracking.

Prepare and verify all export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin (including specific fragrance/hazardous goods declarations where applicable), bills of lading, and customs declarations.

Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal logistics teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery, especially for dangerous goods (alcohol‑based perfumes) if required.

Ensure compliance with UAE export regulations, international trade laws, and letter of credit (L/C) requirements specific to the perfume and personal care sector.

Communicate with overseas distributors, buyers, and agents to provide shipment updates and resolve any shipping discrepancies.

Maintain accurate export records, track shipments, and prepare regular reports for management.

Support sales and finance teams with documentation needed for invoicing and payment collection.

Assist in resolving customs queries, duty calculations, and any post‑shipment issues related to fragrance products.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.

3–5 years of proven experience as an Export Coordinator, preferably within the perfume, personal care, or FMCG industry.

Strong knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms, L/C procedures, and UAE customs regulations.

Familiarity with shipping requirements for hazardous materials (e.g., alcohol‑based perfumes) is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP or logistics software.

Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
