Role Overview
The Creative Strategist will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s visual and communication direction across all digital, social, and e-commerce platforms. This role blends creative strategy, content planning, social media architecture, e-commerce visual direction, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate comes with strong experience in advertising strategy, digital-first storytelling, and hands-on execution using tools like Canva, plus an ability to coordinate with agencies and support production across photo and video shoots.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Direction
- Develop and execute end-to-end creative strategies for social media, digital campaigns, and e-commerce channels (D2C + Marketplace).
- Lead ideation for brand and product storytelling, ensuring content aligns with marketing objectives and brand positioning.
- Maintain and continuously evolve visual guidelines for Afnan and sister brands, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Approve content concepts, layouts, and visual directions prior to publishing across social, digital, and online retail platforms.
- Assist in directing and supporting photo and video shoots, ensuring creative requirements are met.
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Build complete social media strategies, including content calendars, visual direction, campaign concepts, and channel optimization.
- Manage monthly content planning, ensuring a minimum output of:
- Track performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement, reach, and conversions.
E-Commerce Creative Direction (D2C & Marketplaces)
- Oversee creative updates for e-commerce platforms including website banners, product pages, and digital brand stores.
- Plan and deliver monthly refreshes of Amazon Brand Stores and other marketplace storefronts.
- Drive visual consistency, usability, and conversion-focused creative strategies across D2C and marketplace channels.
Agency & Partner Collaboration
- Coordinate with creative, social, and production agencies handling all brands to maintain a unified visual identity.
- Work closely with external partners including stylists, videographers, production houses, and influencers.
- Manage creative requirements for influencer campaigns, PR packaging, and partnerships.
Tools, Tech & Hands-On Execution
- Create high-quality visuals, presentations, and layouts using Canva (expert-level required).
- Utilize AI-enabled tools for ideation, creative enhancement, and workflow optimization (AI knowledge preferred).
- Knowledge of Nano Banana is a plus.
Requirement
- Minimum 5 years of experience in creative strategy, digital advertising, or brand content (beauty, fashion, or luxury preferred).
- Strong background in advertising strategy and digital-first campaign development.
- Proven ability to build and execute complete social media strategies.
- Experience with D2C and marketplace e-commerce (content, visuals, storefront optimization).
- Hands-on expertise in Canva; additional graphic/AI tool knowledge is a strong plus.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with creative agencies and production partners.
- Experience assisting on photo/video shoots.
- Excellent aesthetic sense, communication skills, and strategic thinking.
- Passion for creativity, fragrances, luxury, and compelling storytelling.
