Overview
Position: Assistant HR Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
Industry: Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, employee records management, HRIS updates, and offboarding processes within a manufacturing environment.
Oversee the complete payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and handle all payroll-related queries and compliance.
Administer employee services such as benefits, leave management, insurance, and government relations (e.g., visas, labor contracts).
Handle employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring compliance with UAE labor law.
Support the performance management cycle, including goal-setting, appraisal coordination, and feedback processes.
Address employee grievances confidentially and impartially, conducting investigations and recommending resolutions when necessary.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures tailored to a shift-based manufacturing workforce.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background in a manufacturing or industrial setting in the UAE.
Hands-on experience in HR operations, payroll processing, and employee relations in the UAE market.
In-depth knowledge of UAE labor law, visa processes, and WPS payroll systems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
