Position: GC Analyst (m/f/d)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented GC Analyst to join a dynamic team in a globally recognized fragrance company. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting both qualitative and quantitative analysis of perfumed products, with a focus on fine fragrance and personal care product development. This role demands technical expertise in GCMS and GCFID analysis, coupled with a solid background in fragrance raw materials and extraction methods.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of fragrance products using GCMS, GCFID

Reconstruct fragrances based on analytical output

Extract fine fragrances and personal care ingredients

Support formulation and development of extraction processes

Collaborate closely with Perfumery & Evaluation departments

Independently handle minor maintenance of GC equipment
Ensure lab procedures meet international quality standards

Desired Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Chemistry or a comparable scientific field (perfumery specialization is an advantage)
2–5 years of proven experience as a GC Analyst, preferably in fine fragrance
Familiarity with natural essential oils and perfumery raw materials
Proficiency in GC analysis software and MS Office
Working knowledge of extraction and laboratory methods
Experience in the Middle East or GCC market is a plus
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities
